Why a room-by-room inventory helps
An inventory is the most useful thing you can send with a quote request. It tells us what is moving, what is staying, what needs to come apart, and what needs extra care, so the price, the crew, and the truck are planned around your actual home rather than a guess.
- Work room by room. Tap common items to add them, change quantities, and add anything else by name.
- Mark what is not coming. Items set to Leave or Donate are kept on your list but excluded from the move.
- Add the details that matter. Fragile, heavy, needs disassembly, size, and where it goes, such as a storage unit or a second stop.
- Send it with your quote. Your summary carries into the quote form, where you can add photos.

Moving inventory questions
Why do movers ask for an inventory?
The amount you are moving drives the crew size, the truck, the time, and on long-distance moves the weight. An inventory lets the mover price your move from what you actually own.
What should I include in a moving inventory?
Every piece of furniture and every appliance that is moving, an approximate number of boxes per room, and anything fragile, very heavy, or in need of disassembly. Mark items you are leaving behind so they are excluded.
Is my inventory sent to Allpoints automatically?
No. It is saved on your device until you choose to send it with a quote request.
Can I change my inventory after I send it?
Yes. Tell us about any changes. Changes after a quote is issued are reviewed and may change the quote.
Do I need to count every box?
An approximate number per room is enough for a quote. Use the box label maker later to number each box for moving day.
